Alberta Lamme, 96
Fremont
Died at Nye Pointe Sunday March 30. She was born February 7, 1912 in St. Paul, Minnesota and was raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota graduating from Grand Forks High School in 1930. She was Phi Beta Kappa when she graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1935. Alberta worked in North Dakota and then attended graduate school at the University of Chicago in Social Work. She worked as a social worker in North Dakota and Germany after joining the American Red Cross in 1945. Alberta DeLano married David Lamme July 14, 1949 in Omaha and they moved to Fremont where she spent the rest of her life. David died April 24, 1966. Alberta worked at the Dodge County Welfare office from 1969 until her retirement in 1980.
She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church Women, and PEO Chapter HK. She was a past docent for the Fremont Area Art Association, member of the Keep Fremont Beautiful Committee, and a member of the Joslyn Art Guild.

2 daughters; Libby (husband Robert) Vance of Fremont and Barbara (husband John) Harrington of Hastings.

Numerous Nieces and Nephews including Nick Lamme (Cheryl), John Lamme (Iris), Tom Lamme, Katharine Brunskill, Susan Morris (John), Mardy Harrold (Tom), John Muller, Mark Muller
Memorial Services will be Saturday April 12, at 11:30 A.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, Rev. Mary Kate Schroeder officiating. There will be no visitation, the body will be cremated. Memorials have been established to St. James Episcopal Church and Keep Fremont Beautiful. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
