Glennice A. Carlson was born on December 24, 1922, in Mead, Nebraska (Saunders County) to Oscar and Ethel (Miller) Anderson.She graduated from Mead High School.Glennice was received into Christ's Church through Holy Baptism and Confirmed at Mead Immanuel Baptist Church in Mead, Nebraska.

Glennice married Rudolph W. Carlson on September 22, 1942, at Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Glennice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.She worked various jobs in other states before traveling with Rudy across the United States during World War II and worked for Fremont Public Schools as a secretary at Clarmar Elementary School for 10 years.She was a member of Sinai's choir for many years, served on the Alter Guild, was a member of Charity Circle and Bell Choir and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxilary post #265 in Colon, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rudy after 69 wonderful years together.Brother Roger Anderson and sister Elaine (Anderson) Martens; Sister-in-laws Rose (Baldwin) Anderson, Millie (Carlson) Swanson, and Inez (Carlson) McClean, and Joyce Carlson; and Brother-in-lawsMarvin Martens, Ed Swanson, Jim McClean.

Visitaion will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.Family will be present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services are at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont.Pastor Al Duminy will be officiating.
