Albert A. Provorse, 75 Fremont Died at an Elkhorn Nursing Home Tuesday morning. He was born at St. Edward, Nebraska November 19, 1930 and graduated from Kramer High School at Columbus, Nebraska in 1948. He moved to Fremont in 1958 and started Topco, Inc. Countertops and Cabinets. He sold Topco in the late 1970's and ran Al's Cabinets until his retirement in 1997. Al married Dorothy L. Long August 11, 1950 at Columbus. She died November 9, 1999. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fremont Contractors, coached Midget Football and YMCA baseball, and was an active bowler. Survived by: 2 daughters; Cindy Sindel (husband Scott) of Lincoln Kay Arens (husband Tom) of Omaha 2 sons: Allan Provorse (wife Paula) of Omaha David Provorse (wife Marcia) of Topeka, Kansas 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Services will be Friday March 17 at 10:00 A.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ron Croom officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday with the family present at the Funeral Chapel and until time of service Friday.
