Alberta I. Risch, 76, Fremont

Died at A.J. Merrick Manor Tuesday, November 20 surrounded by loved ones. She was born Oct. 1, 1936 in Bancroft, NE and later moved to Omaha. She graduated from Omaha South High School in 1954. She worked in a finance office until 1955 when she married Robert R. Lines Jr. They lived in Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Atlanta and Kansas City before returning to Omaha in 1970. Robert died in 1986.

Alberta met Kermit Risch in 1988; they married and later moved to Fremont in 1996.

She enjoyed polka and ballroom dancing, sewing, tennis, bowling, exercise, lighthouses, and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Kermit, two daughters Vicki Lynn Colchin (husband Mike) and Donna Jean Hanson (husband John) both of Omaha; son Robert Ray Lines III of Omaha and three step sons, K. Doyle Risch and Daylin Risch (wife Christine) both of Howells and Dustin Risch (wife Shayla) of Snyder, Nebraska; four sisters Shirley Ann Shiery of Bellevue, Barbara Jane Olson of Millard, Geraldine Louise Donahue of Gretna, and Janice Stephens of Hemmit, California; one brother Robert Dean Erb of Hemmitt, California; 8 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Friday at 9:30 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Rev. Timothy Gierke officiating. A memorial has been established to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
