Alec Taylor Stromer, age 26, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2022. Alec was born on December 18, 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in Arlington, Nebraska. He graduated from Arlington High School, attended college classes, and had been working as a restaurant cook for several years. Alec had a passion for playing video games and listening to music. He loved animals as his heart cared for all creatures great and small. Spending time with family and talking with friends were things Alec enjoyed. He felt compassion for those around him and always wanted to help others.
Alec was loved deeply and is survived by his parents, Brook Stromer and Chris Stromer; his younger sister, Abby Stromer; grandparents, Ruth and Dain Olsen, Jack Stromer; uncles Toby Olsen, Todd (Sarah) Olsen, Scott (Rameena) Stromer, Andrew (Tammy) Stromer; great grandmother, Dolores Mandeville; and four cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Darlene Stromer.
Funeral services will be held at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 am and will be followed by the inurnment service at the cemetery in Arlington, Nebraska. Services will be recorded and available on Dugan Funeral Chapel's website for viewing.
Memorials are to be directed to the family. Casual attire is preferred.
