Alva C. Tracy, 99, of Fremont, died Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at Fremont Area Medical Center.

He was born October 23, 1912 in Linwood to William and Fannie (Brown) Tracy. He married Helen Bader on December 8, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He drove truck and farmed throughout the area for most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. He was a member of the Fremont Berean Bible Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include four daughters: Alvina (William) Stack of Casper, Wyoming, Marilyn (Donald) Verbeek of Fremont, Betty McGee of Enid, Oklahoma, Judith Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana; step-son Joseph (Brenda) Webb of Durham, North Carolina; step-daughter Norma Web Hurtado of San Antonio, Texas; 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 13 at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 4:00-8:00 with services being held at 10:00 Monday, November 14 at Dugan Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Watson officiating. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
