Ardyth J. Meyer, age 87, of Fremont, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at Fremont Health.

Ardyth J. Trow was born September 24, 1928, in Albany, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school in 1945, she worked for 1 year in Chicago at the Merchandise Mart for the U.S. Treasury Department.She then attended and graduated from Madison Business College.She was employed as a secretary in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.She married Donald V. Meyer in 1951, in Albany, Wisconsin, and lived in Wisconsin until moving to the Twin Cities in 1957. After moving to Fremont in 1966, she continued her career, working as a Administrative Assistant at Midland Lutheran College for 27 years, first in the Business Office and later in the President's Office, retiring from there in 1993.

She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, Mary Circle and a member of the P.E.O Sisterhood, Chapter GH, Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2002.

Ardyth is survived by her 3 sons, Rod Meyer of Fremont, Jeffrey (wife Susan) Meyer of Johnston, Iowa, Stephen (wife Debbie) Meyer of Omaha; and daughter Karen (husband Gerald) Koehler of Harvard, Nebraska, brothers Edward Trow of Evansville, Wisconsin, Lyle (wife Elaine) Trow of Evansville, Wisconsin, Burdell (wife Althea) Trow of Brooklyn, Wisconsin, sister Wanda Williams of Northford, Connecticut, grandchildren Vince (Ashley) Koehler, Brandon (Sara) Koehler, Colton Koehler, Shannon (Mike) Dmoski, Zak (Amber) Meyer, Kevin (Nicole) Meyer, Philip (Alexandra) Meyer, Frank Meyer, great-grandchildren Ellis, Everett, Eisley and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
