Arnold E. Rise, age 84, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Dunklau Gardens.

Arnold was born on October 2, 1937, to Otto and Lumilla (Goelz) Rise in Fremont. He attended school at Fremont. Following school he entered the workforce. In 1956, he joined the US Air National Guard where he served until 1959. On April 5, 1962, Arnold married Audrie Lambert in Fremont. Arnold and Audrie spent most of their lives in the Fremont area where they raised their children.

Arnold worked for the City of Fremont/Department of Utilities at the Wastewater Plant for 33 years before retiring, to spend more time with his grandchildren. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America, where he was a troop leader and volunteer.

Arnold enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Nebraska Husker Volleyball.

Preceded in death by his wife Audrie, daughters Christine and Robin, sister Sherry (Ken) Wolters, sister-in-law Mary Rise, and parents.

Arnold is survived by his sons Al (Patti) Rise, Rich (Carrie) Rise, daughter Lynette Rise, grandchildren Mandy (Matthew) Van Der Leest, Kristen Rise, Connor Rise, Reid Rise, 3 great-granddaughters, Madison, Amilia, and Maisy Van Der Leest; brothers David (Carole) Rise, Merle (Debby) Rise, Edward Rise, Charles (Jan) Rise, sisters Pamela Miller, Karen (Stan) Portsche, Clara (Gene) Havekost, as well as many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 5-7PM.

Funeral Services will take place Friday, December 3, 2021, at Dugan Funeral Chapel at 10:30AM.

Burial will take place at Memorial Cemetery.
