August C. Lallman, age 90, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha.

August Carl Lallman was born November 8, 1921, in rural Arlington to Albert and Celia (Mengedoht) Lallman. He served in the United States Army in World War II. Upon the completion of his services, he returned to live and work on the family farm doing so until he retired in 1985. He married Madelyn Nelson in 1946. She passed away in 1970. He later married Verah Fox in 1977.

Step-Sons: Gordie (Holly) Fox of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; Gerry Fox of Lyons, NE
Many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

He enjoyed working with metal and welding for many different projects.
