Barbara J. (Snider) Mattson, age 81, of Fremont, passed away March 30, 2018, at the Hooper Care Center.

Barbara was born June 2, 1936.She graduated from Kearney High School in 1954.She married her high school sweetheart Clark Mattson, on December 22, 1957. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary last December.

Clark's work kept the family moving around before making Fremont their permanent home in 1970.

While living in Fremont, Barbara worked various jobs, including 10 years at Western Electric.She was involved in several organizations and loved quilting and crafting.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.She loved phone calls and visits from the family.

She is survived by her husband, Clark Mattson; children, Reed (Sharon) Mattson of Fremont, Andrew (Barbara) Mattson of Loveland, CO; Daniel (Stephanie) Mattson of Holdrege, NE.Grandchildren, Evan (Mallory) Mattson of Olathe, KS, Morgan Mattson, Clarks Summit, PA, Danika Ward, Boulder, CO and Dawson Mattson, Holdrege, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eulene and Earl Singleton and father and mother-in-law Ingve (Ding) and Ruth Mattson.
