Barbara M. Kuddes, age 71, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home.

Barb was born on February 22, 1950, to Theodore and Emma (Hildebrand) LeMay, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Barb attended and graduated from Beckman Catholic High School in 1968. Following high school she was a mother to her two sons, Shawn and Greg. Barb was employed with Oilgear for many years, in Fremont before retiring. Barb enjoyed being a grandma and attending her grandchildren's activities.

Barb enjoyed spending time in her garden, tending to her dogs, baking, visiting the casinos and listening to Elvis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Jeanette Hildebrand, step-father John Hildebrand, brother George LeMay, brother-in-law Tom Hood.

She is survived by her sons, Shawn (Amy) Kaup of Fremont, Greg (Angie) Kaup of Hooper, step daughtersShelly (Dave) Arntt of Wahoo, Denise (James) Kinney of Rock Hill, South Carolina, stepsons Jon (Tina)Kuddes of Fremont, Matt (Theresa) Kuddes of Fremont, 16 grandchildren, siblings Donna Lincoln of Colesburg, IA, Shirley (Larry) Brockhohn of Monticello, IA, Anamarie Hood ofMarion, IA, Tim (Kathy) Hildebrand of Jefferson, GA, sister in law Linda LeMay of Des Moines, IA, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 1 hour prior to memorial service beginning at 12PM, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
