Betty J. Lundstrom, 84
Fremont
Went to be with Jesus at Nye Legacy Wednesday morning. Betty was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska July 18, 1924 and was rasied on a farm near there graduating from Ainsworth High School. She moved to Fremont where she was employeed by J.C. Penny Co. Betty McCoy married Stanley Lundstrom October 25, 1943 at Lewiston, Montana, he died November 24, 1998. She was employeed as a Secretary for the Fremont Public Schools for a number of years. Betty willl always be remembered for her gift of mercy and kindness.
She was a member of Sinai Lutheran Church and a member of he Board of the Hazel Keene Foundation.
Survivors are three sons; James Lundstrom (wife Glenda) of Columbus, Kirk Lundstrom (wife Valerie) of Fremont, and Ben Lundstrom (wife Marlene) of Glendale, Iowa. Seven grandchildren; Jason, Nathan, Matthew, Sean, Ryan, Brittany, Gage, and Qwirt and Six great grandchildren Lauren, Meggan, Carter, Ryan, Joslyn, and Candace.
Memorial Services will be Monday August 10 at 11:00 A.M. at Sinai Lutheran Church. Rev. James Melang officiating. There willl be no visitation. A memorial has been established to Sinai Lutheran Church Sunday School. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
Interment of the Cremains will be in Memorial Cemetery.
