Betty Jean Roberts, 88 of Fremont passed away Friday morning at Arbor Manor Living Center. Betty was born June 25, 1918 in Fremont and lived her entire life here. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1936, and attended Midland Lutheran College. She work for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce as a secretery and then became a homemaker and mother to her two sons. She was a long time member of St. James Episcopal Church and was a member of St. Marys Guild. Betty Brugh married Richard H. Roberts on August 22, 1947. He precedded her in death on March 20, 2001. Survived by: 2 sons-William Randall Roberts of Fremont Richard Harold Roberts (wife Marnie) of Grant, Nebraska 3 grandchildren 3 Nieces 3 Nephews Memorial Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Episcopal Church.
