Beverly Cooper, age 85, of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont.

Beverly was born March 28, 1933, at the family farm in Platte County, Nebraska to Edith and Emil Swanson.She attended a rural school through the 8th grade and graduated in 1950 from St. Edward High School in St. Edward, Nebraska.She was employed as a secretary for many years in Lincoln, Columbus, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Fremont.

She married Edwin Cooper on October 20, 1951, in Albion, Nebraska at the Methodist Church parsonage.They moved to Columbus until 1952 when Edwin was drafted into the military and served at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.After his discharge in 1954, they moved to Fremont.

Beverly was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the women's circle group and taught Sunday school for many years.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin on June 15, 2016, her parents and two sisters.

Survivors include: son, Kent Cooper of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; daughters, Susan (Bob) Starman of Omaha, Nebraska and Kathy (Bradley) Bloemker of Lynd, Minnesota and three grandchildren, Kelsey Starman, Zachary Bloemker and Malia Bloemker.

The funeral service will be on June 7, 2018 at 10:30AM at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service beginning at 9:30AM.

Burial will take place in Memorial Cemetery.
