Bonnie J. Yorty, age 84, passed away Wednesday July 2, 2014 at her residence in Fremont.

Bonnie was born in Schleswig, Iowa, on July 9, 1929, to Hazel (Meadows) and Marvin Mesenbrink.She worked as a waitress and attended Onawa High School until graduating in 1947.After high school, she worked for Northwestern Bell in Onawa.Bonnie met and married Eldon Yorty in David City, Nebraska, on August 22, 1953.In 1953, they moved to Fremont where she worked for the phone company until retiring in 1978.After her husband Eldon died, Bonnie went to work for the Dodge County Hospital in 1985, finally retiring in 1988.

Visitation is from 4:00 - 8:00PM Monday, July 7, 2014, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.Family will be present from 6:00 - 8:00PM

Funeral Services will be at 10:00AM Tuesday July 8, 2014, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
