Chad M. Skinner, age 39, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Dunklau Gardens Fremont Health Facility.
Chad was born September 3, 1976, in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1994. He attended college at the University of Nebraska Lincoln as well as Metro Community College. After college he worked for Ford Motor Credit Company for 11 years. Chad married Emily Dose in Las Vegas on December 9, 2004. They renewed their vows on September 10, 2005 in Fremont. It was during this time that they lived in Overland Park, Kansas; Henderson, Nevada; and Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2010 they moved back to Omaha and he began working at Cox Communications. He was promoted to a supervisor position and moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 2012 before returning to Omaha in 2013 to be closer to family. Recently, he began working as a Dealer Relationship Manager for Commerce Bank of Kansas City, Missouri. His territory included Nebraska and Iowa.
Chad enjoyed playing cards, fantasy football, sports, cooking and spending time with friends.
Growing up in Fremont, he was a member of Demolay.
He and Emily welcomed a daughter Samantha Rosella Marie, on May 27th, 2010, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents Gerald D. and Marie Johnson, Grandfather Boyd Giesselman and Grandfather Lynn Skinner
He is survived by his wife Emily and daughter Samantha of Fremont

His father Ron (Teresa) Skinner of Fremont
Sister Karisma (Tommy) Heuring and their daughter Makenna Gemar of Fremont
Brother Jake (Gabby) Skinner of Fremont
Grandmother Laurene Giesselman of Fremont
He is survived by Aunts, Uncles, and cousins as well as many other friends who he considered to be family.
Memorials have been established in order to support Samantha's ongoing education.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Dan Heuer will be officiating.
