Clare E. Keasling, 90
Fremont
Died at Edgewood Manor on Monday morning. She was born in El Reno, Oklahoma April 16, 1920 and was raised there graduating from El Reno High School in 1938. She graduated from Central State Teachers College in Edmund, Oklahoma in 1941. She lived in Arlington, Virginia and worked for the War Department in Washington, D.C. until 1949 when she moved to a farm near Harvard, Nebraska with her husband. In 1990 Clare moved to Fremont.
Clare Waldo married Dean A. Keasling March 20, 1943 in Hastings, Nebraska. He died December 20, 1994.
She was a member of the Harvard United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxillary.

Two Sons; Dr. Gerald F. Keasling (wife Barbara) of Fremont and Robert D. Keasling (wife Kathleen) of Omaha. One Brother Dr. Frank Waldo of Birmingham, Alabama. 9 grandchildren; Jeff Keasling (wife Amber), Becky Niiya (husband Mitsu), Susan Keasling, Tom Keasling (wife Toni), Anne Keasling (husband Calvin), Katie Keasling, Amanda Keasling, Emily Keasling, and Madison Keasling. 5 great grandchildren; Jenna and Allison Keasling, Max and Zack Niiya, and Makai Keasling.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 9, at 10:00 A.M. at Sinai Lutheran Church. Rev. Mike Ostrum officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Memorials have been established to the Alzheimer's Association, and the Harvard United Methodist Church.
Graveside Services will be Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Harvard Cemetery in Harvard, Nebraska. Rev. Dean Joy officiating.
