Clifford A. Ehlers, 86 Fremont Died at Arbor Manor Friday morning. He was born March 3, 1920 at Utica, Nebraska and lived on the farm where he was born until his retirement in 1984 when he moved into Utica. He moved to Fremont in 1997. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1942 and served as a tail gunner in the Burma and India region until 1944. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Clifford married Malita Friesen December 8, 1946 at Henderson, Nebraska. Survived by: Wife-Malita of Fremont Son-James Ehlers (wife Connie) of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska Sister-Edith Fehlhafer of Utica, Nebraska 2 grandchildren Memorial services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. William Lewis officiating. The body was donated and there will be no visitation. Memorials have been established to the Presbyterian Church and the American Diabetes Association.
