Constance "Connie" C. Perkins, age 90, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Fremont Health.

Connie was born to Harmon and Ruby (Hagman) Brown on December 3, 1925, in Mitchell, South Dakota.She was raised in Mitchell and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1943.Connie then attended Dakota Wesleyan and graduated in 1947.Connie Brown married Ernie Perkins in Mitchell, South Dakota, on July 19, 1946.Together they lived in Mitchell, South Dakota; Austin, Minnesota; Ottumwa, Iowa; and Fremont.

Connie was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church, an outstanding member of Methodist Women's Group.She was also a member of P.E.O.

Survived by daughters Carol Perkins of Fremont; Carla (Calvin) Watkins of Fresno, California, sons Jerry Perkins of Chicago, Illinois; Dr. Jack Perkins of Eugene, Oregon, brother Harmon W. Brown of Pebble Beach, California, Grandchildren Connie and Calvin Watkins both of Fresno, 2 Great-Grandchildren

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Memorial Cemetery.Reverend Michael McGregor will be officiating.

A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held 11:00 A.M. September 13, 2016, at First United Methodist Church.
