Daniel Joseph Spencer

Born April 12, 1949 Pierre SD died January 9, 2021 Fremont, NE from kidney failure, brought on by Agent Orange he ingested in Viet Nam. Dan was a "give you the shirt off his back" type of fellow. He helped anyone needing his assistance, labor, ride, housing, food, and money. I doubt he ever turned anyone away.
He was a hard worker, no matter the task. He was dedicated to his family, who loved him. He loved his Coke, Louis L'Amour, Ralph Compton books. There was one in his back pocket at all times.
He married his wife Syvithia May Stevens in 1967, just before leaving for his tour in Viet Nam where he served in Da Nang "a hot spot of the war." He came home October 9th 1968.
Children: A beautiful daughter Deanna Michelle Spencer, Born April, 25, 1970. A son, Travis Allen Spencer, Born Sept 30, 1972
Robin Ray Spencer, Born December 28, 1974

They raised Syvithia's niece Susan Jane Mc Clure.

Dan was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Deanna; His mother, Martha Spencer; His father Boyd Jack Spencer; Sister, Virginia Lee Heuer; Brother, Harold Lee Spencer. He is already missed!

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 10:30AM at Full Life Church.
