Fremont

Died at his home Tuesday, November 10. Don Was born in North Bend, Nebraska August 22, 1915. He attended North Bend Schools and then graduated from Fremont High School in 1933. He attended Wayne State Teachers College and then graduated from Midland College in 1937. He taught schools and coached at Gretna, Nebraska prior to opening Tiny Togs and Teen Town in downtown Fremont with his wife. After selling those business' in 1966 he was a salesman for University Publishing Company. Don retired in 1985

Don married Mildred Peterson May 24, 1939 in Fremont, she died February 11, 2007.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Fremont Golf Club and was an avid bridge player.

He is survived by one daughter Marilyn Rademacher (husband Don) of Lincoln and one son Charles Sic (wife Muriel of Albany, Oregon. Six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Edith Smith and Ruth Dudley, both of Santa Paula, California. He was also preceded by one son Gerald.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 17 at 10:30 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Leland Foreman officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials have been established to Odyssey Hospice and Midland College.

Private graveside services will be at Ridge Cemetery.
