Doris L. Harriman, 98, of Scribner, died at Scribner Good Samaritan Center on Monday morning.
She was born July 13, 1911 to Samuel and Ada (Boystun) Pherigo in Cado, OK. She graduated from Okmulgee High School in Okmulgee, OK in 1929 and attended the East Oklahoma Teachers College in Ada, Ok. She married Arthur Harriman May 25, 1935 in Okmulgee, OK and spent her life as a homemaker. He preceded her in death. Two sons and three grandchildren preceded her in death.
Survivors include: son Darrell (Sandy) Harriman of Devine, TX; daughter Sandra (Dennis) Sleeper of Fremont; brother Don (Mary) Pherigo of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter-in-law Leana (Dave) Marshal of Corona, CA; Grandchildren: Sheryl (Cory) Hull, Scribner; Kevin Sleeper, Longview, TX; Kandy & Isabella Sleeper, Fremont; Shannon (Candice) Harriman, Dallas, TX; Gail Harriman, Austin, TX; Michelle (Dwight)Thompson, Dallas,TX; Michael Scillich, San Antonio, TX; Michael (Celeste) Harriman, Corona, CA; April (Gabe) Jauregui,Memphis, TN; and Paul (Maxine) Sleeper, Dallas,TX; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for Monday, Dec 7th at Scribner Good Samaritan Center at 1:00.Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
