Dorothy Moses, age 72, of Fremont, passed away, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society of Scribner.


Dorothy was born February 23, 1943 in Trinidad, Tobago. She lived in Trinidad until moving to St. Croix in 1965. She married and to that marriage were three sons, Kenneth, James and Christopher. She spent most of her time in St. Croix being a homemaker and raising her children. In 1985, she moved to New Jersey where she worked in home health for over 20 years. Dorothy moved to Fremont in 2008 to be closer to her family.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time in her garden, sewing, crocheting and singing gospel music. She especially loved her family and the time spent with them. Dorothy enjoyed watching baseball and cheering on her favorite team, The Mets.


She is preceded in death by her son Keith Moses and parents.


She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Angela) Ferdinand of Fremont, James (Catey) Ferdinand of Fremont, Christopher (Jennifer) Ferdinand of Fremont, daughters Carine Moses of Paterson, New Jersey, Gail Moses of Paterson, New Jersey, JoAnn Moses of London, England, 10 grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
