Dorothy Runyan age 73 of Fremont, passed away December 5, 2007 at the Fremont Area Medical Center.She was born March 26, 1934 on the Racek Homestead in Dawson County, Nebraska. She moved to Lexington, Nebraska, where she graduated from Lexington High School. After graduating, Dorothy taught multiple subjects at a one room school house in the country outside of Lexington. She and James Eggleston married and had 5 children. She married Arthur Runyan and moved to Omaha in 1970. She gave birth to her sixth child in 1971. She worked in Omaha as a private secretary and bartender until retiring in 2005.
