Duane C. Raue, 42 of Fremont died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Nye Legacy
He was born July 4, 1970 in Marengo, Iowa.He graduated from South Tama High School in 1988 and received a associate degree from Hawkeye Tech.
He married Tara (Wood) Raue September 19, 1992 in Traer, Iowa.They lived in Renwick, Iowa until 1995 when they moved to Fremont, where he had been employed by Wiechman Pig Company.
Duane was a member of First Lutheran Church.He enjoyed spending time with his children going to their baseball and softball games.He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved dirt track racing.
Duane is survived by his wife Tara, children Austin, and Morgan of Fremont.Uncle Leo and Aunt Jean Hanson of Fremont; Cousins Celina (Chuck( Kucera and daughter Carlee, Eric Hanson and Jordan Young and unborn baby of Scribner.Other family in Iowa.
Family has requested memorials in lieu of flowers
Visitation:4:00 –8:00 PM Wednesday April 10, 2013 at Dugan Funeral Chapel.Family present from 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Funeral Services:10:30 AM Thursday April 11, 2013 at First Lutheran Church.Pastor Charlie Axness will be officiating.
Interment:Ridge Cemetery
