Glennie Rohrs Passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011. She was born in Auburn, Nebraska November 22, 1924 where she graduated from Auburn High School in 1942. She attended Peru State Teachers College where she was Homecoming Queen in 1944. Glennie Lived in Lincoln until 1959 when the family moved to Florida and then to Fremont in 1963.
Glennie Galloway married Kenneth Rohrs July 26, 1945 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ken died January 18, 2004.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, PEO Chapter GH, and played golf, tennis, and traveled extensively.
She is survived by two daughters, Teri Merriman of Fremont and Patty Mott (Husband Mick); two sons Rick Rohrs (wife Cyndi) of Lincoln and Ron Rohrs of Omaha. One Brother Ernie Galloway of Salinas, California; Grand Children Jared Rohrs (wife Julie), Courtney Merriman, Meghan Merriman, and one Great Grandchild Reef Rohrs.
Inurnment will be at Memorial Cemetery Friday, September 2 at 1:00 P.M. Memorial services Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church. Chaplain Scott Jensen officiating.
