Edna Ilsabein Marie (Stork) Fuchs passed away at Nye Legacy after a short illness on Friday, November 9th at the age of 96 years and 10 months.

She was born December 24, 1915, and grew up in rural Arlington as the daughter of John and Lena Stork.On August 25th, 1940, she married Rudolph Fuchs .They farmed north of Arlington for 38 years and raised six children there.In 1978 they retired and moved to Arlington where Edna lived until October of 2011.At that time she moved to Nye Square and enjoyed the last year of her life there.

She was a lifetime member of St Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League at St Paul's.She was an active member of the Arlington Over 60 Center for 30 years and loved volunteering there as well as playing cards and board games.

Edna is survived by her children, Bonnie (Richard) Owston of Fremont; Vernetta (Donald) Dunlap of Mesa, AZ; Doris (John) Ray of Golden, CO; Larry (Marg) Fuchs of Arlington, Jean (Michael) Ristow of Arlington; and Kenneth (Roxanne) Fuchs of Fremont. She has 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.She is also survived by a brother, Allard, of Cleveland, Ohio and a sister-in-law Irma Stork of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, who died in 1996 and a brother, Harold Stork, of Arlington.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00-8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 13th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.Pastor Rick Kanoy will be officiating.A memorial has been established to St Paul's Lutheran Church.
