Edward J. (Joe) Brandon, 56
Fremont
Died at Fremont Area Medical Center Saturday night.

He was born October 17, 1952 at Baxter Springs, Kansas. He moved to Ottawa, Oklahoma where he was raised and attended Quawpaw High School. He joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. On April 9, 1973, he married Deborah Mueller in Weeping Water, Nebraska. They moved to Fremont and Joe retired from the U.S. Army Reserve in Fremont in May of 2002. He was employed by Werner Enterprises as an over the road truck driver trainer. He was a lifetime member of Fremont VFW post 854.

He is survived by his wife Deborah, two daughters, Pamela J. Knapp of San Antonio, Texas and Jennifer J. Brandon of Fremont. He has four brothers, Danny Brandon of Quawpaw, Oklahoma, Gary Brandon of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jerry Brandon and Ritchey Brandon of Picher, Oklahoma, one Step Brother, Floyd McKibben of Quawpaw, Oklahoma and one Step Sister Toni Torris of Vinita, Oklahoma. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ron Croom officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. There has been a memorial established to the Fremont Humane Society.
