Eleanor M. Blair, 94, of Fremont, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Nye Legacy. She was born August 17, 1916 in Spencer to Ella M. Zeich and Robert O. Blair. She grew up in Oakland where her mother was a hairdresser. She was a graduate of Oakland High School.
Eleanor spent her career as a secretary in Omaha, working at several firms, including Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She retired to Fremont, living most recently at Nye Legacy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Orma Blair Jacobson and brother-in-law Everett Jacobson, both of Oakland.
She is survived by her brother Bob (Jean) Blair of Gilbert, AZ; cousin Lorraine Quinn of Fremont; and four nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Monday, November 29, 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont with Reverend Michael Thomas of Salem Lutheran Church officiating. There is no visitation.
