Ellen K. Hansen, 79, died Saturday Morning at Fremont Area Medical Center. She was born in Fremong April 30, 1927. She was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1945. She married Melvin Hansen July 31, 1949 in Fremont. He died January 18, 2006. She was a homemaker most of her life and was very active in her church, both in Fremont and Yutan. She taught Sunday School and was active in the many womens circles at church. She was also preceeded in death by a son Mark A. Hansen. Survived by 2 sons: Douglas M. (wife Cynthia) Hansen of Fremont, Timothy D. (wife Elin) Hansen of St. Charles, Illinois. 2 grandchildren Services are Tuesday, Oct 3, 10:00AM, at First Lutheran Church.
