Eunice B. York, 86 Fremont Died at Life Care Center of Elkhorn, Nebraska Tuesday morning. Eunice was born in New Franklin, Missouri August 18, 1922 to Frederick and Wilhelmina Klusmeyer. She graduated from Boonville High School, Boonville, Missouri in 1940. Eunice married W. Earl York at New Franklin on October 31, 1940. In 1957 they moved their family from Kansas City to Fremont. She worked for the Fremont J. C. Penney store for 20 years. She moved to Omaha in 1987 and was employed by the House of Fabrics and then Hancock Fabrics until 2002. Eunice was a member of the First Congregational Church, UCC and an active member of the Fremont PTA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl, her eldest son, Lowell and a daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen York. She is survived by three daughters, Gayle Roberts (husband Howell) of Omaha , Kristy Broadstone of Omaha , Lisa Neal (husband Ronald) of Houston, Texas and two sons, Dwight York (wife Robyn) of Willmar, Minnesota and Dr. Eric York (wife Victoria) of Silver City, New Mexico, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. William Lewis officiating. The casket will be open prior to the service. A memorial has been established.
