Eva M. Wright, age 96, of Fremont passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Shalimar Gardens.


Eva was born on October 15, 1918 to John and Dorothea Forburger in Elkhorn, NE.Eva grew up on a dairy farm and graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1934.Soon afterwards, her family moved to a farm near Ames.On March 1, 1941, Eva married Donald H. Wright in Logan, Iowa. In 1953, Don and Eva and their two children moved to Fremont. Eva was a case worker for Dodge County Social Services for 25 years.She was a long time member of Salem Lutheran Church and also belonged to Business and Professional Women's association.


She is preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Wright, son Donald J. Wright, sister Helen Smith, and brother John Forburger.


She is survived by her daughter JoAnne and husband Dick Malmgren of Boulder, CO, 3 grandchildren and 5great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery.
