Fremont
Died at Brighton Gardens in Omaha Friday morning February 12.
She was born August 25, 1908 in Oberlin, Kansas and raised in Superior, Nebraska graduating from Superior High School in 1925. She lived in Lexington, Nebraska before moving to Fremont in 1936. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Arbor Vita Chapter #92 Order of Eastern Star, and PEO chapter ED in Omaha.
Fern Carlson married William E. Kauffman March 11, 1935 in Lincoln. He died September 11, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Faist (husband Lauren) of Omaha; one granddaughter Susan Faist of Scottsdale, Arizona; one grandson Mark Faist of Houston, Texas and a great grandson Spencer Ramirez.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday February 16 at 2:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Bill Bowers officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00. There has been a memorial established to the Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com
Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery.
