Florence L. Halseth, 93 Fremont Died Tuesday at A.J. Merrick Manor. She was born April 12, 1913 in Minot, North Dakota. She spent 10 years there and the family moved to Clearbrook, Minnesota in 1923. She graduated from High School there in 1932. She married Marvin L. Halseth September 22, 1934 in Clearbrook. He died September 30, 2003. They moved to Oregon in the fall of 1948, were they lived until 1973, then moved back to Clearbrook and than Fremont in 1983. Florence was a homemaker and raised her family of 1 son and 2 daughters. Survived by 2 daughters: Lavone (husband Dale) Barnett of Beatrice, Nebraska, Sharon (husband Gary) Freeman of Fremont. Daughter-in-law Patti Halseth of Salem, Oregon. Brother Clifford Blessum of Egan, Minnesota. 2 sisters: Irene Lundin of Salem, Oregon and Margaret Amundson of Clearbrook, Minnesota. Also preceeded in death by her son Bruce Halseth. 7 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren Services will be Thursday at 3:00 PM, at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dale Barnett officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time on Thursday. Memorial as been established to Seljard Lutheran Church Cemetery in Clearbrook, Minnesota. Burial in Memorial Cemetery.
