Floyd Allen Erwin, 81 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Monday August 15, 2022 surrounded by his
family.
Floyd was born December 22, 1940 in Ohio. He grew up with loving parents 4 brothers and 4 sisters in
Wellsville Ohio. Floyd served in the military from June 9, 1959 until 1965. He had a group of very close
friends in Ohio that he kept in constant contact with until the end. He moved to Nebraska to be closer to
his family. Floyd worked for teamsters for many years, but he loved carpentry and started his own
business building things from wood. If you knew Floyd you know that his family was always put first in
his life. He loved to travel to Montana, but his home was always where his family lived. To know Floyd is
to know love. He was the kindest most generous man. He will live on within his family for generations.
He is survived by his daughters Sherri (Jim Bennet) Foust of Fremont NE, Susan (Mike) Busselman of
Monett MO, his sisters Bonnie Stearnes, Nancy Brown, Mary Lundvall, and many grandchildren and
great grandchildren that adore him.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gaynell Erwin, brothers Bob Erwin, Kenny
Erwin, Bill Erwin, Keith Erwin , sister Alice Larson, and great grandson Christian.
