Frank Duane Larsen, Jr., age 69, of Fremont, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Bellevue Medical Center.


Frank, the fourth child, and only son, was born to Frank and Dorothy Larsen on February 25th, 1946 in Beatrice, NE.He graduated from Beatrice, NE high school in 1964.He then went on, and attended Phillips University and UNL.Frank married Mary Carstens in 1969 and moved to Lincoln before relocating to Fremont in 1979 to raise his family.

Frank worked in sales for many years before starting his own construction company. He was a weeblo leader for Cub Scouts. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, wood-working, and spoiling his grandchildren.


Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Dorothy Larsen and sisters: Marilyn Scheideler and Doris Gross.


Survived by wife Mary, daughter Amy (Ed) Hunt, sons Matt (Monica) and Michael (Amy) Larsen all of Omaha. Also survived by sisters Darlene Gabriel and Patty (Cliff) Guy of Lincoln and brother-in-law Dick Scheideler of Beatrice. Frank is well loved by his 6 grandchildren, 2 grandpups and lots of close knit family members.
