Geraldine E. Sass, 78 Fremont Died at her home Thursday, September 21, 2006. She was born June 18, 1928 at St. Libory and was raised on the family farm near there. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1946 and the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing where she was employeed for one and a half years. She graduated from the Barnes Hospital School of Anesthesia in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1952. She was employeed by Lincoln General Hospital until 1954 when she moved to Fremont. She worked at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County and Fremont Medical Associates until her retirement . Geraldine Luebke married Wallace Sass April 25, 1954 in Palmer, Nebraska. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Women and was a Bloodmobile Volunteer. Survived by: Husband Wallace Daughter - Kimberly Zaiman( husband K. Robert) of Omaha 2 sons - Brian Sass of Houston, Texas Kevin Sass of Des Moines, Iowa 1 sister - Katherine Sass of Grand Island, Nebraska 2 brothers - Harold Luebke of St. Libory, Nebraska Kenneth Luebke of Omaha, Nebraska 6 grandchildren Services will be Monday September 25 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Michael Meyer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
