Dr. Harold E. Hirsh, 88 Fremont Died at Edgewood Manor Wednesday morning. He was born April 27, 1920 at Kearney, Nebraska and was raised at Lexington, Nebraska graduating from Lexington High School in 1938. He attended Kearney State College and then the University of Nebraska Dental School where he graduated in 1944. He entered the U.S. Army as a Dentist and was stationed on the east coast prior to coming to Fremont in 1946. Dr. Hirsh practiced in Fremont until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Fremont Kiwanis Club, Fremont Lodge #15 A.F. & A.M., Fremont Shrine Club, Tangier Temple Oriental Band and the Fremont Golf Club. He married Lola Kumpf May 24, 1944 at Lexington, she died December 19, 2006. He is survived by; 1 daughter Kay L. Hirsh of Fremont 2 sons Lou Hirsh of Omaha and David Hirsh (wife Carol) of Las Vegas, Nevada 2 sisters-Katie Hirsh of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Doris McGee of Phoenix, Arizona 3 grandchildren Services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dr. William Lewis officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. the family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00.
