Herbert M. Precht, 92 Fremont Died at A.J. Merrick Manor Thursday morning. He was born in Denison, Iowa March 12, 1914 and moved to Fremont as a child where he was raised and attended school. Herbert married LucilleTownsend in Denver, Colorado September 30, 1933 and they returned to Fremont in 1934. During WWII he worked as a machinist for the Air Force in Exeter, Nebraska for 3 years. For over 30 years he worked for the Sidles Company and did independent tool and dye work. In the 1930's Herbert was a member of the Harley-Davidson Motorcyle Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, was one of the originators of Camp Moses Merrill and was a camp Grandparent at Church Summer Camp there. Survived by: wife-Lucille one daughter-Judi Staab (husband Larry) of Fremont one granddaughter one great granddaughter Services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Leland Foreman officiating. Vistation will be Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 4:00 to 6:00.
