Ila Jean Charles, 80 of Valley died January 16, 2006 at her home She was born in Valley October 10, 1925. She was raised there and graduated from Fremont High School in 1942. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She moved to Oregon and worked as a legal secratery for many years. She moved back to Valley and was involved in the family farming business. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Fremont. Survived by son: Jack Benz of West Linn, Oregon. 2 grandchildren. Memorial services will be Thrusday, February 2, 2006 at 3:00PM at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul Mottl will officiate. No visitation.
