Inez M. Quy, 89

Fremont

Inez Quy died at her home at Nye Square Saturday morning. She was born in Formosa, Kansas August 18, 1921 and was raised there graduating from Formosa High School in 1939. She lived in Mankato, Kansas for four years and then moved to Superior, Nebraska where she lived from 1949 until 1994. She moved to Hastings in 1994 and lived there before moving to Fremont in 2007.

Inez Payne married Vernon Quy February 15, 1942 at Formosa, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband Vernon, one daughter Margaret Sheffield (husband Bruce) of Raymond, Nebraska. Two sons, Stanley Quy (wife Lanete) of Valley, Nebraska and Dennis Quy (wife Joyce) of Apple Valley, Minnesota. One brother Ronald Payne of Formosa, Kansas. There are seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.


Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Vicar Diana Kuhl officiating. There will be no visitation. There has been a memorial established to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
