Jacob David Monke, 27

Omaha

Died at his home Wednesday.

He was born in Fremont September 20, 1981and raised in the Fontanelle area. He attended Talabasta District 14 until 5th grade and then went to Arlington schools graduating from Arlington High School in 2000. Jacob attended Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts graduating in 2003 and then moved to Omaha. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church.

The Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patricks Catholic Church. Rev. Owen Korte officiating. The Rosary will be Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel and at the Church prior to the service. Memorials have been established to the Threshold Program at Lesley University and the Fremont Area Special Olympics. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.

Burial will be in the Talbasta Cemetery.
