Jacqueline (Jackie) Marie Olson 62, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away December 3, 2008. Jackie was born on December 8, 1945 and lived most of her life in Fremont, NE before moving to Arizona. Jackie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, godmother and friend who will be greatly missed. Jackie enjoyed working in retail and worked as a switchboard operator at Pamida for many years and at Dillards at the Oakview Mall before moving to Arizona. She loved spending time with family, cooking spaghetti, gardening and listening to music. Most recently, Jackie returned to work part-time at Walmart in Scottsdale which she loved, and where she made many friends. Jackie is survived by her sons Shawn and wife Jill of Scottsdale, AZ, Stacey and wife Jackie of Fremont, father Thomas LaRocca and sister Joanne Gemar, husband Bob of Fremont, a sister Jeri Nutzman, husband Dennie of Lowden, IA, brothers, Jim LaRocca and wife Mary, Joel LaRocca, Tom LaRocca Jr. all of Fremont, Jeff LaRocca and Candi Miller of Springfield, MO, Jayme LaRocca and wife Angela of Kansas City, KS and John LaRocca and wife Sandy of Omaha, granddaughters Alexandra and Danielle and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Victoria LaRocca and grandson Tyler Shawn Olson. Funeral services will be held Sat. Dec. 13th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont with rosary Friday Dec. 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
