James C. Boothe, 93, Fremont, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Fremont Area Medical Center.

He was born March 10, 1915 in Saunders County and was raised in Fremont. He attended Fremont Schools. April 1, 1935 he married Nellie L. Fuller in Madison, Nebraska, she died December 1, 2004. In 1944 he joined the U.S. Navy and then returned to Fremont where he was a mechanic at Boothe Auto for many years.
He is survived by four daughters; Juliane Hammond of Fremont, Donna Rae Watson (husband Richard) of Lincoln, Charis Mach (husband Delbert) of Arlington, and Ethelanne Sherman (husband Gary) of Fremont. Three sons Jonothan Booth of Fremont, J. Chris Boothe Jr. of Miami, Ohio, Stephen Boothe (wife Betty) of Fremont. Two sisters, Viola Slette of Woodburn, Oregon and Beulah McGuire of Eugene, Oregon. 25 Grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
