Jill Renee Britt Richardson, age 43, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at A.J. Merrick Manor due to colon cancer.

Jill was born July 12, 1967, in Kansas City, MO to Robert A. Britt & C. Galen Townsend Britt. She was married to Darrin Richardson in Olathe, KS December 18, 1993; Jill attended Camp Springs Christian School in Maryland and served as co-captain of the varsity volleyball team. Jill earned a BS in Elementary Education from Mid America Nazarene University. While in Olathe, Kansas, Jill worked as a banker and played a vital role in Ladies Student Ministries. After moving to Fremont, Jill obtained a Masters of Education from Doane College; a supportive Student Ministries Pastors wife serving in the Church of the Nazarene at Duncan, OK; Nacogdoches, TX; Council Bluffs, IA; and Fremont, NE.

Jill loved her students and enjoyed working with the staff as 4th Grade Teacher at Milliken Park Elementary. She was nominated by one of her students at Milliken Park and selected for KGBI Radio Station Teacher of the Year. Jill enjoyed contributing to the Science Fair and the Relay for Life Cancer Walk.

She is preceded in death by a cousin Greg McGolden. Grandparents Rual (Ruth) Britt, and John (Dorothy) Townsend

Jill is survived by her husband Darrin.

Beloved children, Gabrielle Grace (9), Kade Isaac (8), and Titus Shadrack (5).

She is great aunt to Christian Patrick Pardue whose delivery date is this week.

Jill loved people, lifted others up, and made every individual feel important. Some of Jill's final messages to us,"I want the invisible God to be visible through me." "Tell em' what you're going to tell em', tell em, tell em' what you told em' – Jesus; Jesus; Jesus." "I want to see all of you at the marriage supper of the LAMB." "I love you, Jill."

Visitation with family and friends at the Fremont Church of the Nazarene will be on Friday, October 1, 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM;

Funeral Service will be at Fremont Church of the Nazarene Saturday, October 2, at 10:00 AM

A memorial has been established for the Richardson's children at American National Bank located at 99 W. 6th St in Fremont, Nebraska.
