Joan V. Wilhelm, age 64 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2007 at home. Joan was born in Wahoo July 14, 1942. She attended Wahoo High School and graduated in 1958. After graduating she worked at the Wigwam Caf. Joan married Vernon Wilhelm August 31, 1962 in Beatrice. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Fremont. Joan was very proud of her daughter Kim who is in the Army and is leaving for Iraq in late 2008. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.Preceded in death by: Father Walter Carlstrom Husband Vern Wilhelm Survived by: Mother Viola Carlstrom Brothers Jim (Sharon) Carlstrom, John "Shakey" Carlstrom Sister Judy Daughters Kim (John) Urbanec, and Kristine (Vern) Wilson Grandchildren: Jeremy, Jamie, Jacob, Tim, Amanda, and Shawn. Many brothers and sisters-in-law. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday December 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church with a visitation beginning at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery.
