Kaye Everson passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, March 29, 2015, surrounded by her family and beloved rat-terrier dog, "Maggie".


Kaye was born in Norfolk, Nebraska, and raised in Pilger, Nebraska.She graduated from Pilger High School in 1969 and moved to Fremont in 1970.


Kaye was an avid crafter and seamstress, enjoyed playing "Solitaire," loved spending time with her little dogs and motorcycle riding with her late husband, Ed "Bandit" Everson. Later in life, Kaye was an enthusiastic bird watcher and enjoyed the hummingbirds that would visit her regularly.


Kaye was a loyal and loving wife, mother and mother-in-law, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.She dedicated her life to her family and caring for disabled husband Ed, until his death in 2009.


Kaye was diagnosed with a debilitating form of Multiple Sclerosis in 1993 and demonstrated unmatched strength and courage throughout.She maintained an incredible attitude and sense of humor, which served as a source of inspiration to all that knew her.


Kaye was preceded in death by her husband Ed Everson and her parents Earl and Verda Peters (Davis).


She is survived by her son Troy (Hilary) Everson of Fremont; her loving siblings Rick (Milli ) Davis of Dallas, TX; Douglas (Nancy) Davis of Norfolk; Jerry Davis of Fremont; and Jeanne Harder of Omaha.Kaye is also survived by very special nieces and nephews Brian (Allison) Davis of Papillion; Jennifer (Raitis) Tigeris of Lincoln; Patrick Davis and Paul Davis of Dallas, TX; Jeremy (Kris) Davis of Fremont; Adam (Kellie) Harder of Springfield, VA, Traci Harder (and special friend, Ryan Padavich) of Omaha, NE;; 10 great-nephews and nieces; several amazing and dedicated caregivers that made it possible for Kaye to stay at home; and her very loyal companion, her dog Maggie.
