LaDellys (Dell) Gene Vrana, 79, Died May 28, 2013 in Fremont, NE.
He was born October 8, 1933 in Octavia, NE.

Survived in death by his five children, Daniel, Diane, Theresa, Kenneth, Darian and their loving spouses. His eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. His brother Eldrid Vrana and his sister Arnez Gans and their loving spouses. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that were very dear to him.

Dell joined the Coast Guard in 1954. He was one of the youngest to reach E9 in 19 years of service. He retired in 1975 with 21 years of service. Serving in the military was something he considered an honor and privilege. If one would ask Dell Vrana what his greatest source of pride was his answer would most certainly be, being a father and grandpa. Dell was a man that found joy in the Lord and all the blessings that came with loving the Lord. He was a humble man that would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. He was a man that did many random acts of kindness. Dell Vrana was truly a beautiful soul that will be greatly missed in this earthly world but we find peace in knowing he is rejoicing in his forever home.
Funeral Services will be Saturday June 1, at 9:30 A.M. at Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Roger Luidken officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 at Dugan Funeral Chapel. There has been a memorial established to Liberty Baptist Church.
