Larry Staab, age 66 of Fremont, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Larry was born on the family farm in Boone County, Nebraska on August 28, 1943. He attended and graduated from Fremont High School in 1961. Larry married Judith Precht September 18, 1965 in Fremont. They moved to Huntsville, Texas, where he attended and graduated from Sam Houston State College in 1967. After graduating, he and Judi returned to Fremont. He worked in the animal health care industry for the Fremont Hatchery, Harvest Brand, and Salsbury Laboratories for 22 years. After that he started his own business as a swine health consultant. He farmed and also had a hog breeding operation.

He was an avid elk hunter as well as an avid horseman and outdoorsman. Larry was also a proud grandparent.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fremont. He was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Funeral Service: Friday March 19, 2010, 10 AM at First Baptist Church in Fremont.
Burial: Rosehill Cemetery, Newman Grove, NE, at 2:30 PM Friday
