Lawrence Anderson, 88

Fremont

Died at Nye Legacy on Sunday morning. He was born in West Fall, Kansas March 6, 1922 and was raised in Lincoln, Kansas graduating from Lincoln High School in 1939. He entered the Army and served in the South Pacific in WWII receiving the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. He moved to Salina, Kansas where he went to work for Gambles Company and was transferred to Fremont in 1948. He retired in 1984 after 36 and one half years.

Lawrence married Dorothy Austin in Salina, Kansas March 16, 1946. She died January 6, 2000.

He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Anderson of Bellevue, Nebraska, two brothers; Preston Anderson (wife Jeri) of Plainville, Kansas and Ernest Anderson of Fremont. A daughter in law, Marsha Anderson of Tabor, Iowa. 5 grandchildren; Charles John Anderson (wife Jenny) of Nashville, Tennesee, Julie Buss (husband Clayton) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Carrie Anderson, Ally Anderson, and Donnie Anderson all of Tabor, Iowa. Two Great Grandchildren, Ethan Buss and Andrew Buss both of Lincoln, Nebraska. Preceded by one son, Larry Anderson.
